🎃 Halloween Spending To Hit $11.6B This Year

Consumers are expected to spend $11.6 billion on Halloween this year, down from last year’s $12.2 billion, according to the National Retail Federation. Shoppers plan to spend $103.63 on average, with $3.5 billion on candy, $3.8 billion on costumes, $3.8 billion on decorations, and $500 million on greeting cards while, Nearly 47% began shopping early to avoid last-minute stress.

54% of Gen Z shoppers in the U.S. plan to use TikTok Shop for holiday purchases, with 43% set to spend more than last year. Fiverr reports that 34% of Gen Z look to TikTok for gift ideas, while 25% follow influencers' suggestions. Retailers are responding by boosting digital marketing efforts, as 42% of Gen Z are expected to purchase gifts through social media platforms.
🎁 32% of Holiday Shoppers Begin Before November
32% percent of U.S. consumers intend to begin their holiday shopping between July and October according to a Gartner survey. In contrast, 29% plan to start in November. Despite rising prices, only 14% plan to spend more than last year, with 64% maintaining spending and 21% reducing it while concerns over inflation are prompting shoppers to seek promotions early.

HubSpot has rolled out "Breeze," an AI-driven solution for marketing, sales, and customer service, featuring Copilot for personalized task support, Workflow Agents for process automation, and Intelligence for enriched customer data.
