Instagram (65%) now leads Facebook (64%) among consumers, according to Sprout Social. Gen Z prefers Instagram and TikTok while Millennials favor Instagram. Gen X and Baby Boomers mainly use Facebook. Additionally, 45% have taken a social media detox recently. There are rising concerns about AI-generated content contributing to misinformation and affecting consumer trust.
