The study, using Samba TV’s “tune in” process, found an 84% increase in tune-in intent among Snap ad viewers. Additionally, Snapchat reaches 79% of households missed by TV ads, with 1 in 3 tune-ins from new viewers.

X, formerly Twitter, has rejoined the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) to reassure ad partners about brand safety to counter negative perceptions following Elon Musk’s takeover, which saw many brand safety measures abandoned. By re-committing to GARM guidelines, X seeks to regain advertiser trust and mitigate ad revenue decline.  

🛒 Google Boosts Conversion Tracking in Merchant Center

Google Merchant Center will now track conversion events beyond Shopping free listings, including Search web results and other sources providing merchants with comprehensive performance data to optimize shopping experiences. Rolling out in the coming months, this automatic update can be opted out via Merchant Center settings, Google & YouTube channel app, or by unlinking Google Analytics.

📱Google Expands Audience Signal Targeting for App Campaigns

Google expands Audience Signal Targeting to App campaigns, previously exclusive to Performance Max campaigns allowing advertisers more control, potentially enhancing campaign efficiency and performance. Advertisers can now insert Audience Signals into App campaigns, targeting more relevant users to increase app installs and engagement. However, Google may still override these signals.
