Google introduces enhanced shopping tools for U.S. summer sales, featuring a refreshed deals destination on mobile and desktop. Promotions are organized by category and accessible on mobile and desktop in the U.S. and a new membership price display shows regular and discounted prices for loyalty members at retailers like BestBuy. Google also introduces its extensive Shopping Graph for shoppers to find the best discounts.

Shopify introduces the Summer ’24 Edition with over 150 updates to streamline and unify commerce that includes a central hub for international, B2B, and in-person sales, enhanced AI tools for image editing, product creation, interactions, new POS features like one-tap digital receipts and automatic return detection, and rebuilt unified analytics for real-time insights.

🔧 Google automates lead credits for Local Services Ads 

Google will roll out automation for crediting poor-quality leads in Local service ads starting in July to save advertisers time and ensure a fairer distribution of ad credits, particularly benefiting those with limited resources. Utilizing machine learning, Google will review all leads and automatically credit invalid ones within 30 days.

📺 Netflix extends Microsoft advertising partnership

Netflix Extends Microsoft Advertising Partnership to include connected television (CTV) ads, enabling advertisers to reach Netflix viewers through Microsoft’s platform. This move, covering multiple countries including the US, UK, and Brazil, allows advertisers to tap into Netflix's extensive subscriber base, now at approximately 269.6 million.
