Chief Adam Mosseri the head of Instagram, confirms limited testing, striving for a positive, entertainment-focused ambiance but its reluctance towards news and politics might impede competing with Twitter. Mosseri adds "Threads is not looking to add a straight-up chronological search option."

🚀 X to Expand Annual Fee for All Accounts to Deter Bot Sign-Ups

Elon Musk's X project expanded its fee initiative to combat bots, charging users for interaction privileges. This feature aims to deter bot farms and verify human users. Despite boasting 1.7 million daily sign-ups, X's daily active user count remains stagnant, hinting at a significant bot presence with this hindering user growth and exacerbating revenue woes.

Users can disable them, but Microsoft may enable them by default with their feedback determining its future.
