📈 US Ad Market Expands for 11th Straight Month in March
March saw the U.S. ad market extend its growth streak, up 4.3% from March 2023, with smaller categories outpacing larger ones by nearly fourfold. Digital ad spending surged by 15.7%, contrasting traditional media's 13.6% decline. Digital now commands 68% of total U.S. ad spending, up from 61% in March 2023. National TV ad spending experienced a 7.4% decrease year-over-year.

🚫 Google Ads Automatically Pause Low-Activity Keywords
Google Ads will soon automatically pause low-activity keywords, defined as those generating no impressions for over a year. This is to declutter accounts and prioritize high-performing keywords. Advertisers can manually unpause keywords, but Google advises doing so only for those likely to generate impressions soon.
