xAI, owned by Elon Musk, has launched Grok-2 and Grok-2 mini in beta on X enhancing chat, coding, and reasoning capabilities, with Grok-2 now supporting image generation. Available initially to Premium and Premium+ users, the models will soon be accessible to developers via an API. xAI plans to integrate these features into X's search, analytics, and reply functions.
