🔍 FTC Unveils Final “Click-to-Cancel” Rule for Easier Subscription Cancellations

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has announced a final “click-to-cancel” rule aimed at simplifying the cancellation process for recurring subscriptions and memberships. This regulation mandates that sellers must make cancellation as easy as enrollment, addressing consumer frustrations with complex cancellation methods. Set to take effect in 180 days, it seeks to protect consumers from deceptive marketing practices and reduce complaints about recurring payments.
