Meta offers up to $5,000 to high-profile creators to post on Threads, requiring over 10,000 views per post for payout. Exclusive to invitees, Meta seeks to amplify Threads' expansion. Despite a surge of 20 million users since February, Threads trails X's 550 million MAU. The incentive program, alongside raised payouts, underscores Meta's campaign to promote Threads. 

🇨🇳 Chinese Authorities Commit to Blocking TikTok Sale 

The Chinese Government opposes the U.S. push for TikTok's sale but ByteDance is exploring acquisition by a U.S. firm. Biden approved the sale bill, inciting China's criticism of U.S. actions as China argues for lack of evidence for data misuse or propaganda. TikTok's algorithm, might not transfer due to China's rules, potentially reducing its value. Valuation ranges from $20-100 billion based on included assets.
