📝 Meta Tests AI for Facebook Comment Summaries

Source - Social Media Today

Meta is testing AI-generated comment summaries on Facebook, aimed at providing users with a quick overview of comment consensus on posts. The summaries, visible at the top of comment sections, condense popular opinions, potentially saving users from scrolling through all comments. Users can also provide feedback on the accuracy of these summaries. The feature can be disabled in the app settings.

Instagram is exploring a "Super Like" feature for Stories, found in the latest app code letting users press and hold the like button to show extra enthusiasm for a post, similar to features on YouTube and Tinder. Users can give one Super Like per day, possibly for free, to boost engagement and signal interest in future posts from the creator.
