📈 Google's AI Keyword Trends See Major Shifts

Google’s AI Overview (AIO) keyword trends are experiencing significant shifts, according to new research by BrightEdge. Keywords like “best” saw a 50% increase in AIO triggers, while “what is,” “how to,” “symptoms of,” and “treatment” also showed notable growth. There was a 20% rise in e-commerce keywords with AIOs. While Google remains dominant, competitors like Perplexity are gaining traction.

Consumers are largely opposed to dynamic pricing, with 22% avoiding businesses that use it, reveals a NerdWallet survey. This opposition is higher among Gen X (29%) and Baby Boomers (26%). Conversely, 25%, especially Gen Z (39%) and millennials (28%), support dynamic pricing only when prices drop. Dynamic pricing adjusts costs based on supply and demand, offering potential savings for flexible consumers.
